Brokis Starcloud Lyra - pendant light with or without bubble glass ornaments
Designed by Lucie Koldova, the Brokis Starcloud Lyra pendant light takes its sculptural form from the graceful geometry of a spinning top. Its distinctive profile brings a sense of balance and movement to the Starcloud collection, while the interplay of translucent and colored handblown glass creates depth and subtle variations in appearance. Suspended on a slender coaxial cable, Lyra combines delicate craftsmanship with an integrated LED source that provides a diffused glow.
Available in opaline, pearl grey, pearl pink and pearl olive glass, the design can be specified with or without decorative bubbles, alongside silver or black anodised metal details. Hang it individually as an elegant accent beside a bed or in a reading corner, or combine several pendants above a dining table or kitchen island. Lyra also lends a distinctive character to contemporary hotel and restaurant interiors.
Brokis combines centuries-old Bohemian glassblowing with contemporary design, crafting exquisite lighting fixtures known for their quality and innovation. Lucie Koldova is a celebrated Czech designer renowned for her work in product and furniture design, particularly in lighting. Her collaboration with the lighting brand Brokis began in 2010 with the creation of the iconic Muffins and Balloons collections, which she designed during her time in Paris. Since 2014, Koldova has served as Brokis's art director, where her creative vision has significantly influenced the brand’s identity and product range.
In 2018, Koldova gained international recognition as the first Czech designer invited to create the Das Haus installation for imm cologne. This prestigious showcase featured her distinctive lighting collections, including Puro Sparkle, Ivy, Big One, and Jack O’Lantern, each exemplifying her mastery in blending artistic elegance with functional design. Known for her innovative approach, Koldova’s work with Brokis and beyond highlights her ability to marry bold aesthetics with thoughtful craftsmanship, making her a leading figure in contemporary design.

When you receive your order, please check it immediately for any damage and report it back to us within 48 hours, so in the unlikely case it has been damaged during shipping, we can claim compensation and send you a replacement.
