Kateřina Handlová
Kateřina Handlová is a Czech designer renowned for her innovative approach to glass artistry. A graduate of the Glass Atelier at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, she skillfully merges glass with materials like leather, ropes, and porcelain, crafting pieces that reflect her personal experiences and her fascination with haute couture. Handlová's work is characterized by meticulous craftsmanship and a unique aesthetic that bridges traditional glassmaking with contemporary design. In 2022, she was appointed as the Art Director of Rückl, a prestigious Czech glassworks, where she continues to influence the evolution of modern Czech crystal design.
