Designed by Antoni Arola for Vibia, the Asia floor lamp translates the serenity of traditional Asian architecture into a refined lighting object defined by balance, simplicity and material elegance. Its distinctive pitched-roof silhouette is crafted from lacquered glass, whose smooth, translucent surface recalls the delicacy of rice paper, filtering light into a warm and atmospheric glow.
The adjustable diffuser allows the lighting effect to be intuitively adapted to different moments and activities, transitioning effortlessly between direct and indirect illumination. Antoni Arola
Antoni Arola is a Barcelona-based designer whose work explores the relationship between light, space and emotion. Renowned for his multidisciplinary approach, he combines industrial design, art direction and lighting design to create products that are both technically refined and emotionally engaging. His philosophy centres on revealing the essence of materials and light through simplicity, creating timeless designs that enrich architectural environments. A long-standing collaborator with Vibia, Arola has designed several acclaimed lighting collections, including Bamboo, Flamingo, Palma, Empty and Halo Jewel.
